XK CHRISTMAS MUSICAL

DECEMBER 17

It’s time to sign-up for the 2017 Xtreme Kids Christmas Musical. The Xtreme Kids Christmas Musical is a tradition that all of our Trinity families look forward to every year. This Christmas, we rejoice because of the true reason of joy and celebration - the birth of Jesus Christ. We gather to reflect on the manger scene and the wonder of heaven coming down to earth as a small child. As your children lift up these songs of the season, we remember the miraculous life of Christ and draw near to his divine love for all. For sign-up and additional information go to www.trinityxtremekids.org.

CDs are available at Church Welcome Desks or use the above link for download/mp3 options. Performance date is scheduled for Sunday, December 17, with a mandatory rehearsal on Saturday, December 16th. If you are interested in volunteering to help with this program, please contact Kristin Miller at kkmiller@trinityhudson.org.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

XK SERVING SUNDAYS

Each year there are a handful of months that have a 5th Sunday. Moving forward on these dates, the kids will be involved with a service project that will replace their typical XK lesson. This month, December 31, your children will be making fleece tie blankets to donate to Blankets for a Brighter Day. We are asking for donations of fleece material or throw blankets throughout the month of December. Specifications for fleece material are as follows: 2 panels of fleece of equal size 1 1/2 yards each. Holiday deals are a great time to purchase fleece at a discounted price. For more information, please contact Kristin Miller at kkmiller@trinityhudson.org.

CHRISTMAS CARD INVITE

Did you know that people who are not regular church attenders are most open to an invitation to attend church during Christmas? We have a tool for you to use to invite family and friends to our services on Christmas Eve/Day. Pick up an “invite card” at the welcome desk and give one to someone you know - or even to someone you don’t!

TRINITY QUILTERS

The Trinity Quilters is a group of folks who enjoy sewing. We create unique quilts for our graduating seniors, comfort quilts for children in local shelters, fidget quilts for individuals with sensory issues, and little dresses to be taken on mission trips. Please join us at the Downtown campus for an hour, a full day to sew, or simply to visit. All are welcome. Contact Nancy Gavin at 715-386-3513, or Ginny Fritz at 715-386-8848 for more information.

Here is a tentative schedule for the year:

Monday-Tuesday, January 8-9, Mini-retreat Downtown

Monday-Tuesday, February 12-13, Mini-retreat Downtown

Monday-Tuesday, March 12-13, Mini-retreat Downtown

Monday-Tuesday, April 9-10, Mini-retreat Downtown

CARING CASSEROLES

UP AND RUNNING!

The Caring Casseroles ministry is up and running! If you or someone you know needs meals, please contact Heather Hampton at 612-715-1659 or Heather4JP@outlook.com. Please include the name and contact information of the person needing meals, and any dietary restrictions or other important information. If you would like to be on the list to help provide meals, please contact Heather. Thank you and God bless.

ACADEMY FUNDRAISERS

PLEASE HELP

Please continue to save and turn in your Family Fresh grocery store receipts, (Hudson location only!) and the pink Box Tops For Education labels. There are collection bins at the Family Center, Downtown location, & the Academy.

PLEASE NOTE: The Campbell’s Soup Label program that many of us have grown up with has been discontinued. Also, we are not collecting milk jug caps at this time.

Again, thank you all very much for blessing our academy and daycare with these two simple items – truly, it does add up and make a difference! If you have any questions regarding these ongoing fundraisers, please contact Lori Woltman at mrswdot@gmail.com or 715-781-8411.
