VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

FEBRUARY 15

It is Trinity’s turn to serve the Community Supper at Bethel downtown on Thursday, February 15th. The following are times and positions needed:

Food Prep: 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm 2 people

Servers: 4:45 pm - 6:00 pm 6 people

Clean up: 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm 5 people

Also, we need 5 people to deliver 1-2 dozen bars or cookies, to Bethel in disposable containers by 3:00 pm. Your willingness to serve will be very much appreciated. If you are available to help with any of these, please contact Sally Gaeu at 715-386-8054 or sallygaeu@gmail.com by February 11.


SENIOR SINGLES

FEBRUARY 22

One of the outward signs of being a Christian is our love for people. We try to make that love come alive by serving others through mission trips. The Senior Singles will meet on Thursday, February 22 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm in the West Campus Chapel to learn how short term mission trips honor our Lord and serve His people. VOTER'S MEETING

FEBRUARY 25

The Board of Directors has announced a special meeting of the voting members of Trinity for the purpose of issuing a divine call to Rev. Jim Bender. The meeting will be held at 12:00 pm on Sunday, February 25 in the sanctuary of the West Campus.


THRIVENT DOLLARS

Eligible Thrivent Financial members who have available Choice Dollars have until March 31, 2018 to direct them. CAMPUS NAME CHANGES

WEST AND EAST

During our reconciliation process last year, it was identified that we would adjust the naming of our two campuses to reflect a more unified vision. After a congregational process, two new names were chosen. Our downtown campus (1205 6th Street) will be renamed our west campus, and our family center campus (614 Badlands Rd) will be renamed our east campus. Please note that our church name hasn’t changed. We are still Trinity Lutheran Church, but the designation of the two campuses will now be west and east. Thank you to all who participated.


YOUTH PRAISE TEAM

WE NEED YOU

The Youth Praise Team, which is led by Laura Pelz, is in need of more members! If you sing or play an instrument, we would love to have you on the team! Any and all levels are welcome - no need to be an expert. Please connect with Laura Pelz at laurathemusician@gmail.com, or call the church office at 715-386-9313 to get connected. Practices will be on Tuesdays in the downtown youth room at 4:00 pm. They will no longer meet on Wednesdays.


WE NEED DRIVERS

CDL

Do you have a commercial drivers license (CDL)? We are in need of experienced bus drivers for several of our ministries that include: childcare, academy, youth program, and church-wide events. We use our bus at all times of the day for field trips, youth events, Feed My Starving Children, service projects, and mission trips - just to name a few. If you have a CDL and are willing to serve Trinity, please contact Ken Gerhan at 715-386-9313.

The Caring Casseroles ministry is up and running! If you or someone you know needs meals, please contact Heather Hampton at 612-715-1659 or Heather4JP@outlook.com. Please include the name and contact information of the person needing meals, and any dietary restrictions or other important information. ACADEMY FUNDRAISERS

PLEASE HELP

Please continue to save and turn in your Family Fresh grocery store receipts, (Hudson location only!) and the pink Box Tops For Education labels. There are collection bins at the Family Center, Downtown location, & the Academy.

PLEASE NOTE: The Campbell’s Soup Label program that many of us have grown up with has been discontinued. Also, we are not collecting milk jug caps at this time.
