TRINITY CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

It is our mission to support parents and caregivers in developing the foundation of faith in our children, share God's love, be examples of God's love, and strengthen our children's relationship with Jesus.

Every Sunday throughout the school year, kids PreK - 5th grade are offered the opportunity to learn about God's story in their very own worship and Bible study time.

Students in PreK - 5th grade will begin in worship with you and following a children's blessing, be dismissed to their worship and bible study; they will remain in their designated classrooms until a parent or guardian picks them up after the service.

If you are a first time visitor, stop by the Welcome Desk and we would be happy to give you more information.

We look forward to partnering with you to grow our kids for Christ!

Want to get involved?

Do you have a love of God and a heart for kids? If so, we want you!

We are always looking for adult and student volunteers interested in joining our team.  The curriculum is

easy to prepare and lead.  It  follows a simple, four-step lesson focus. All the materials are available to

you digitally ahead of time, and are designed for leading high-quality, engaging lessons with minimal preparation time and materials.

Adult shepherding positions are available for at both campuses.  We welcome Middle School and High School students to serve as assistants in the classrooms before signing-up for a lead teacher position.

Faith Milestones

Each week across all grade levels, our students focus on these four areas: connection with each other and with God's word, studying God's word together, interacting with God's Word to find key themes and take-aways, and responding to God's Word by applying it to life.  In addition to our weekly themes, throughout the Xtreme Kids school year our classroom shepherds work to incorporate and celebrate important faith milestones in the lives of our Trinity youth.

  • The First Rite of Passage: Baptism

With this ceremony, a child becomes a part of the Christian community and the child begins the process of faith development. As the first of many milestones in a child’s spiritual journey, baptism gives us a chance equip our parents, as well as the community, to pour into each child.

  • Preschool

Children who are 3 years old by September 1st of the school year are welcomed into our Xtreme Kids Sunday program as their second Faith Milestone.

  • Kindergarten - 1st Grade

    • Kindergartners: Beginner's Bible
    • 1st Grade:  The Lord's Prayer
  • 2nd - 3rd Grade

    • 2nd Grade Ten Commandments
    • 3rd Grade: Student Bibles
  • 4th - 5th Grade

    • 4th Grade: Apostle's Creed
    • 5th Grade: First Communion

  • Middle School

As our students move from the elementary class setting into middle school, we continue their faith training on Wednesday evenings in more of a Bible study atmosphere, and celebrate their transition into our youth ministry program. Middle school classes and fellowship introduces students to age and gender-based small groups that will be maintained up until high school.  For a more information about our youth ministry, please click here.
