SONSHINE 2010: July 14th – 18th

Who: Anyone is welcome.

What: Four Days of fun and Spiritual Growth while Camping and Enjoying 5 Stages of

Christian Music, starting at 10:00am in the morning through 10:00pm at Night.

What To Bring: Swim Suit, Towel, Clothes, Tent, Sun Block, WATER BOTTLE! (Dont Get Dehydrated!), Spending Money(Optional: for CD’s, Posters, Snacks)

Where: Willmar, Minnesota

When: July 14th Throught the 18th; Depart at 6:00 AM on July 14th, and Arive Back at church at 12:00 on July 18th.

Cost: $115; make checks out to ‘Trinity Lutheran Church.

Wednesday Night Fellowship & Dinner

Wednesdays From 5-6 pm!  

Get to know the Youth Guy, Brandon!  

Youth are welcome to come, EAT, and hang out in the youth room, before the youth worship service at 6:00!  We will be either grilling or getting pizza!  Please feel free to bring $4.00 per person to compensate the cost of the food though if you could!

Youth Ministry Section

The Youth Website sadly did not follow through and was hacked and lost. We have really let go of this section since then, But as of recently, Will be maintaining this section and providing updated information such as:

• Forms / Registration Forms
• Events
• Calenders
• Videos
• Confirmation News
• Updates
• Etc.

We are looking forward to providing this information, And hope to have it soon. Although, It may take some time before we can provide all this. But when we do, It will be amazing!

Summer youth activities

Wednesdays

The Cross EVERY Wednesday Night from 6-8 pm throughout the summer will meet at the downtown site in the Gym.  There will also be some nights where we go to another location as part of the evening, such as to a fire pit, down by the beach and river, or to Willow River park!

Other events to highlight this summer

• Sonshine 2009
  5 Days of Camping, Bands, Hanging Out, and Bible Studies!    This event is held in Willmar MN and is for students and their friends.  Every year Sonshine is comprised of camping, over 100 bands, 5 stages, good food, fellowship, powerful speakers, and Bible studies to process the intense Christian culture they are experiencing!  Bands Like “Red, Switchfoot, Fireflight, Toby Mac, Kutless,” and many more will be at Sonshine!  This is a very powerful and life changing event!  Sign up sheets are located on the Youth bulletin board at both sites.
• Fellowship Events
  There will be several fellowship activities throughout the summer led by students, so watch for those upcoming events and dates! Anything from a game of golf to some excellent paintball games.  All events supervised and include Bible study and prayer elements!
