Growing In Christ Ministry

Are you pregnant? Please share the good news with us!
The new Growing in Christ Ministry encourages our families with new babies! These parents will be receiving material over the next three years that gives them ideas how they can get started on their infants’ Christian education. Babies that are baptized at Trinity will benefit from this ministry as well. We are also offering one meal to all of these families since we all know how hard it is to juggle a baby and everything else in life! We hope these services will help them feel connected to Trinity and at home at our church. Please contact Megan Miller to be enrolled in the program: 715-808-9477.
Calling all Meal Makers… There is no better gift than a homemade meal delivered by a caring person when you’ve just had a baby or are in the middle of a personal crisis. Can you share your culinary skills with other folks within our Trinity community who will truly benefit from this type of outreach? Please consider adding your name to the Caring Casserole team. We sign up to make meals when the need arises. It is a nominal commitment since you have the flexibility to choose if that particular meal opportunity will work for you or not. Please contact Megan Miller 715-808-9477 or Terri Marquardt 715-425-6015 to be added to this important list of cooks.

If you are a Thrivent member and have received a notice that you have Thrivent Choice DollarsSM available to direct to a charitable organization, we encourage you to direct them to either Trinity Lutheran Church or Trinity Academy, or both. Choice Dollars received will go into our Technology fund which supports many areas of ministry. The system serves both our church and academy, and is critical for the daily operation of both the church and academy.
Choice Dollars allocated to you during the calendar year can be directed until March 31 of the following year. For example, you can direct Choice Dollars designated to you in 2011 until March 31, 2012. You can enroll with Thrivent Financial now to have them sent to us monthly as they are allocated.
To be eligible for Choice Dollars, you must be a benefit member age 16 or older, having $800 or more in annual premiums of qualifying insurance products or have $20,000 or more in contract value of qualifying products.
Member eligibility under current eligibility requirements is determined monthly, and these eligibility requirements are re-evaluated on an annual basis.
Our congregation has 138 people eligible for the Thrivent Choice program. 54 of those 138 have participated. So if YOU are eligible and have NOT yet designated your Thrivent Choice dollars, PLEASE do it now! You can give the dollars to Trinity Church or Academy OR other Lutheran organizations. If you have any questions, please contact Meridith Anderson 715 -808-0526.
