Register now for Vacation Bible School July 9-12
Kids – Get Down and Lift God High at Vacation Bible School July 9-12 at the Family Center!
We are excited to partner with Go Fish for their third VBS program.
This year’s VBS is called “PRAISE: Where Kids Get Down and Lift God High!”
GoFish’s first two programs were called Backstage with the Bible and Kickin’ It Old School, and everyone who participated had a great time!
Go Fish is committed to making their VBS curriculum as God-centered as possible. The whole point of PRAISE is to show kids that they exist not for their own glory, but to give God praise. In a fun way, we hope to show kids what it means to have a high view of our amazing God. We want them to get down and lift God high! The overall theme and atmoshphere of this curriculum centers around breakdancing, hip-hop, and dance. Kids will love the animated character DJ Pray-Z as he leads them each day in learning some sweet new moves! All families are encouraged to attend! Watch for registration forms coming soon!
VBS WILL BE AT A NEW TIME THIS SUMMER! MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR JULY 9-12 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Dinner is included each night. Invite some friends!

“Honoring God by adding value and leadership to people’s lives around me”
April 14, 2012
Dear Members and Friends of Trinity Lutheran Church,
Three Sundays ago, you voted and issued me the call to be the Executive Pastor of your family of faith. Since that time, I have been searching for God’s leading through prayer and study. I have consulted with family, friends and colleagues-seeking insight from those who know me best. As the book of Proverbs encourages, “With many counselors, there is wisdom.”
And so, after these few weeks of inquiry and with following where I believe the Holy Spirit is leading, it is with great joy and humility that I accept the call to be the Executive Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church.
May the Gospel of our Risen Savior Jesus, carry us into these next few weeks, months and years of transition and growth as we humbly follow the Lord’s leading to make disciples of all nations.
In His Grip,
Pastor Todd Stocker

The Board of Directors and Feasibility Study Team received the results of the Feasibility Study on Monday April 9. Hard copies of the study results are available at both campuses and electronically by clicking here or on the link below.
Discussion will give members an opportunity for questions and input to the board to determine our next steps.
In order to maximize the opportunity for input from the congregation into this critical decision for Trinity we will schedule listening forums for April 22 between worship services at both campuses.
Based on the Board of Directors review of the study, a Congregational Assembly has been called for April 29th at 12:15pm Downtown Campus to vote on the Board’s recommendation to proceed with a capital campaign.

The Challenge
The Goliath Challenge is an off road 5K race featuring aggressive terrain along with natural and constructed obstacles. The race will take place in a rural setting at the Badlands Snow Park in Hudson, WI. Obstacles representing “Goliath Challenges” include cargo net climbs, hay hurdles and a giant slip-n-slide.
The event is planned for July 28th, 2012 as a morning to early afternoon event with multiple waves of runners based on an anticipated participant total of 1250 runners.
The Goliath Challenge will feature both an adult and children’s race route to truly make this a family friendly event.
Objective
The Goliath Challenge ultimately sets the stage for an opportunity to spread the word of God. The first and foremost objective is to connect people to God in a meaningful way. The underlying theme for the event is facing the “Goliath” challenges that are undoubtedly a part of everyday life.
The second objective of the race is to raise money for a charity that battles the “Goliath” challenge of world hunger. Funds will be raised through participant registration fees, sponsors, and corporate contributions.
The third objective is to have an event that inspires participants to strive for physical fitness.
Goal
The goal is to generate a significant contribution for Feed My Starving Children. Funds will be raised through participant registration fees for both the adult and kid race events along with sponsors and corporate contributions.
