JEREMY TRIEB

I am interested in becoming a member of the board of directors at Trinity Lutheran Church.  Our family is heavily invested in the church and school and would be excited about the opportunity to help serve and support the progress of the Ministry within the connect, grow, and serve vision.  There is an obligation to ensure the growth and sustainability of our Ministry and all we serve for both families and community now and into the future.  We were initially drawn to Trinity because of the total offering of early childhood, the Academy, and the flexibility in church styles. We have been Trinity members for 6 years now and are looking forward to raising our family in this church community

I was born and raised in Hudson WI and still reside here with my beautiful wife Allie who is the CEO of the household, and we have 2 daughters Grace (5) and Hannah (4).  Both girls attend Trinity Academy and love it!  Grace started in kindergarten this year and Hannah is in the morning 4K program.  We love the outdoors and the girls like to go on “adventure hikes” whenever we can.  We already find ourselves immersed in dance, t-ball, and soccer where both Allie and I have found enjoyment in the opportunity to coach the girls’ teams.

From a connect, grow, and serve lens, we have enjoyed the opportunity to be involved in so many great ways at Trinity.  We are regular attendees primarily at the east campus where I have enjoyed supporting the usher duties and regular rotation while the girls take on greeter duties up front always looking for “new customers”.  Allie and I are involved in the growth groups during the fall and have learned quite a bit along the way while developing fellowship with other members.  Allie is a volunteer teacher with extreme kids at the east campus this year which both she and the kids really enjoy.  I spend time each month volunteering with the We Do Feet ministry with my regular buddies Greg and Mike.  I also had an opportunity to volunteer in support of the thrift sale which was my first and a cool experience.  Most recently the family just got done with participating in and volunteering to support the fantastic VBS program this last summer which was a huge hit with the kids and adults alike.

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself and our family.

Family:
Husband Darren
Daughter Amber, freshman in college
Son Justin, sophomore at HHS
History at Trinity:
I have been a member of Trinity since 1996,
when I joined the church and started singing on the worship team at West Campus.
Darren and I were married at West Campus in 2000.
Both of our children have been baptized and confirmed here.
I am a veteran VBS teacher and was Steeple People children’s choir director for 5 years.
Trinity is Home.
I feel I am qualified to serve on the Nominations Committee because of my lengthy dedication to our church. Having led worship and attended worship at both sites over the course of my tenure here, I have a longitudinal understanding of past and present members
and how members cycle through service commitments.
